NEWS After the final BSC Executive Committee meeting of the year, in Gdansk November 12th (minutes and documents), and the Baltic Sea Strategy (BSS) Round Table on Environment which BSC co-hosted the focus is now on the BSC individual delivery to the BSS. All member regions are now involved and the goal is to circulate a draft document before Christmas. The Baltic Sea Strategy (BSS) Round Table on Environment which BSC co-hosted together with European Commission (DG Regional Policy), Pomorskie Voivodeship (Poland), the Office Committee for European Integration (Poland), on November 13th in Gdansk was well received. The meeting had some 200 delegates from all around the Baltic Sea and an additional 100 students from Poland. The speakers managed to start good discussions in all four sessions. The HELCOM action plan was agreed to be the starting point for most of the discussions. Next meeting of the Executive Committee will be held in a lunch-to-lunch meeting in Oulu, Finland on February 27-28th with the Northern Dimension as prime topic. ! Website under reconstruction !
